1. Who we are
This Cookie Policy is issued by Cellstop Fleet Tracking (Pty) Ltd (“Cellstop”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a South African private company registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and licensed by Cellstop International (CIL).
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Where cookies involve personal information, PoPIA (and GDPR where applicable) also apply.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- make the website function securely and reliably;
- remember choices that improve usability where applicable;
- deliver page styling and scripts from content delivery networks; and
- support embedded third-party content (for example maps) where used on a page.
We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics tags on the live Cellstop South Africa website pages. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required by law, obtain appropriate consent before using them.
4. Types of cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary / essential
These cookies or equivalent storage are required for the website to operate. They may support security, load balancing, session continuity or delivery of core scripts and styles. They do not require consent under typical cookie consent frameworks because the site cannot function properly without them.
4.2 Functional
Functional cookies remember preferences or improve features. We may use limited functional storage as needed for site behaviour. Where such cookies are not strictly necessary, we will treat them accordingly if we expand our cookie set.
4.3 Analytics and marketing
We do not currently place analytics or marketing cookies on the live website. If this changes, the relevant cookies will be described here and controlled as required by applicable law.
5. Third-party cookies and content
Some pages may load resources from third parties, including:
- Content delivery networks (for example jsDelivr) used to serve Bootstrap and icon libraries; and
- Map or embed providers (for example Google Maps) where a map is shown on a page such as Company.
Those third parties may set or read their own cookies according to their policies. We do not control third-party cookie practices. Please review the relevant third-party privacy and cookie notices for details.
6. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality.
Guidance for common browsers is typically available under the browser’s help or privacy settings (for example Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari). Device-level settings may also limit tracking or cross-site data.
Where GDPR applies and we introduce non-essential cookies, you will also be able to withdraw consent using the mechanism we provide at that time.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices, technology or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when this version took effect. Material changes will be published on this page.
